In September 2025 residents will be given 2 weeks of protected time during which they will participate in programming designed to teach them the necessary steps involved in conducting and publishing research relevant to the practice of surgery in their local context.

Program Implementation, cont'd
Dr. Gamble and a team of volunteers will travel to Angola to implement educational programming that results from the collaborative efforts of individuals who are passionate about science education and who are skilled in biomedical research or any of the ancillary disciplines needed to carry out research (e.g. statistics, bioethics, grant-writing/administration, etc).
